Lisa's Dream (2006) was written as a gift for my sister-in-law for her birthday when she was playing with a band in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. My husband's family was all in band throughout school. His oldest sister played French Horn, his brother played trombone, his younger sister played bass clarinet and he plays percussion. These instruments help to form the musical tapestry of the piece.
