Calvalcade (2002) was written just after I returned to Regina after completing my Masters'. This work was written for the Campbell Collegiate Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Brent Ghiglione. The group was very strong and had an amazing french horn section that I decided to feature in the piece. This is not say that the rest of the band did not have some challenging and interesting parts. The low brass and winds will be in for some fun when they play their parts.
